Press Kit

Cynthia is the author of the Curses of Church Hill trilogy, a gothic folk horror romantasy that is rooted in folklore, girlhood, and the long echo of generational trauma. Along with hard won healing. She’s drawn to stories that let the dark be real without letting it win.

Outside of fiction, Cynthia works in infant mortality research, where she listens closely to the lived realities behind statistics and systems. She also writes the occasional grant and volunteers as a memorial photographer, creating images for families who deserve gentleness in the hardest moments.

She lives in Indiana, on a small hobby farm that sits surrounded by cornfields and suspected haunted tree lines, with her husband of twenty years and their five children. Together they raise and show Valais Blacknose sheep and Silkie chickens.
