Curses of Church Hill

Josephine Whitefern knows how cruel pretty places can be, because she lived it. 

After a brutal, unexplainable assault shatters what little safety she had left, Josephine is brought to Church Hill. A town that doesn’t exist on any printed map, a place only the desperate stumble into.

As Josephine walks its quiet streets, strangers whisper her name. Yet, the constant ache in her chest finally settles. And for the first time ever, Josephine wants to stay. despite the boy she left behind in Indiana, the one named Casper who shattered her heart.

But Josephine doesn’t know that Church Hill wasn’t waiting to welcome her. It was waiting to claim her, and that sometimes beautiful homes are just pretty cages.

She will learn that this town needs a Keeper, someone to stand at the edge of the dark and hold the light against what hungers beyond. And Josephine, broken-hearted and starving to belong, has already begun answering a call she doesn’t yet understand.
